Each garment represents many hours of industry from owner and designer Tymone Winter, a gifted seamstress who has been working in the industry since her mother had a designer knitwear store in the 80’s.
This collection stays true to the Empire’s aesthetic, signature leather lace work is hand punched, cut, draped and stitched with naturally beautiful biodegradable silks, linens, and cotton chambrays.
For the first time Empire of Genius has produced a linen range for everyday wear which features in the 2020 Autumn drop, a collection made up of warm tones that soften every skin colour.
As is her wont, Winter adds a few rockstar pieces to each collection for that impact entrance, each is one of a kind, so get in at the opening to add a distinctive piece to your wardrobe.
Empire of Genius debuts in Auckland from the 9th March until the 15th at Ponsonby Central - drinks and canapes will be served on the Friday.
